As always, the health and safety of our patients and staff is the number one priority. The coronavirus (COVID-19) has been disruptive for all of our lives but we are committed to continue providing comprehensive eye care to the community. Community Eye Care will implement the following office operational changes.
We have implemented enhanced sanitation measures to ensure that all medical equipment, any touched surfaces, and frame displays are cleaned between each patient.
Social distancing practices include limiting the number of patients in the office at the same time by spacing appointments further apart.
If you having any cold or flu-like symptoms or exposed to anyone with these symptoms, we require you to reschedule your appointment.
We are closely monitoring any changes to the CDC guidelines and recommendations.
Additionally, Community Eye Care will help with any emergency eye care problem. DO NOT GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM OR EXPRESS CLINIC. Hospitals may become overwhelmed by this pandemic.
Emergency eye problems include, but may not be limited to, the following:
New flashes and/or floaters
Sudden vision loss
Red eye w/ discharge or pain
New-onset double vision
Foreign body in the eye
Trauma/injury to the eye
